ONCE UPON A SUMMER- LAST PART

“Hi, good morning,” the tour guide greeted while maintaining the smile.

“You better stop smiling”. The woman unconsciously blurted out and it was too late before she realizes it. “What I mean is-” The tour guide burst into laughter.

It sounds like music. A beautiful harmony. She thought the tour guide will be offended but turn the other way. She can’t believe it. They are talking. It feels like familiar. That they know each other for a very long time. She feels comfortable. She feels belong. The woman feels like she can talk to the tour guide forever and it feels right. It’s perfect.

That day is the most special day of her life. She always get up early and they take breakfast together. They never lose topic. There is no idle time between them. The more they talk the more she falls in love. Falling in love. She never thought of it and it was happening.

That beautiful soul. That beautiful smile. Those eyes. I fell for it. I fell to the totality of that personality and being. The woman thought that, maybe falling in love is nothing to do with time. Sometimes it came so very unexpected. Ready or not it will come and invades your system.

The woman fall in love unexpectedly and that was her greatest downfall. With a smile on her eyes she smiles sweetly and bid farewell to Island Paradise and to the tour guide who captures her attention and later on her heart. It was not a happy ending for her. It was a sad beautiful tragic love story. Because it is not always about happy ending. Life is difficult and it is not always about doing what you love but sometimes it is about doing what is good.

Growing apart is what is good and best for the both of them. They are meant to meet each other but not destine to be together.

The woman meant to just leave. She leaves keeping that beautiful memory inside her heart. The thing is, she doesn’t know what the tour guide truly feels. Maybe, it was a one sided story as well.

A puzzle that is meant not to be completed. The woman decided that she won’t chase the piece anymore. She will just let it. Once upon a summer she fell in love but she doesn’t broke her heart.

Instead, she became whole and just like that, once upon a summer she fell inlove.

She's a dreamer. Hopes to be lost in oblivion but the truth is, she just wants to be seen and heard. In quest within and lover of life. This, too, shall pass so I will keep going ; I still don't know. I'll rest for the mean time.
