ONCE UPON A SUMMER- Part 2

A smile that captures her attention. The tour guide is also very polite to the questions of the tourist and willingly explain to the inquiries. She doesn’t have questions that much. Or maybe she can’t formulate one.

She already heard about it and read some reviews as well as read its history that is why she is already aware of the place. All she needs is to experience its reality and not just that mere concept. She can’t make a conversation. So, she just became contented seeing the tour guide from a far. They are in same group and yet it seem like they are stranger to one another.

She doesn’t talk that much. She prefers to listen. She just keep her thoughts in her mind. She enjoys the activity on that day. Mountain climbing. It’s new to her. It was tiring yet fulfilling. Climbing the mountain feels like reaching her goals. It motivates her somehow. She was very excited for tomorrow.

Every day in this place is exciting and stunning. New discoveries arise each day. Experiencing this place is much better than just reading about it. There are no right words that can explain how much she feels. She arrives early on their meeting place. Today’s activity will be boat tripping. All of them will meet in the shore.

But, it seems like she’s a little bit early. So, she just enjoy the peace that the ocean brings her. The sea breeze is calming. She feels a little bit cold but it’s tolerable. That cold doesn’t compare to the ice inside of her. She close her eyes and just feel the tranquility of the morning.

Then, the moment she opens her eyes, she saw the brightest smile ever. The tour guide is standing besides her and looking at her as if she is a masterpiece. Her heart is pounding. What is this feeling? She doesn’t believe in love at first sight but what is just happening? Love. Is this love? She never know that much about that concept. She is a complete stranger on that.

To be continued…

She's a dreamer. Hopes to be lost in oblivion but the truth is, she just wants to be seen and heard. In quest within and lover of life. This, too, shall pass so I will keep going ; I still don't know. I'll rest for the mean time.
